On Tuesday, March 25 MCFN and Alamos Gold together will be holding a Sod Turning Ceremony at MacLellan Mine Site.
No personal vehicles are allowed to travel on the MacLellan Mine Road, and personal vehicles are not allowed to park at the MacLellan Mine Site.
Buses will be at the Lynn Lake School departing for the MacLellan Site at 8:30 am, 9:00 am, and 9:30 am. Minors must be with an adult. First come, first served.
For safety reasons, each passenger will be asked their name as they enter the bus to include on the transport manifest. This will be repeated for the return trip.
The Sod Turning Ceremony will include speeches from MCFN Okimaw Hart, Alamos Gold President John McCluskey, and Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew.
Buses return to the school at 11:30 am for the MCFN Community Feast held in the school gymnasium from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm. Speeches will continue during lunch. Everyone is welcome!
